My list is the poppiest of the bunch, I'm sure. What can I say -- I like pop music. I like to think that I like good pop music, however. I maintain that there's nothing wrong with songs that make you happy, and that's what I've gone with here. The chorus of "Made Of Stone" makes me feel badass, where the same in every song on Black Kids' EP makes me want to dance like a fool. (The song I picked rose above the pack because you get to count while you're singing along.) I love hand claps, which had a part of getting "I Was A Daughter" on here. The stories on "Foundations" and "Sheila" entertain me, even if they're sad. Songs like "Karmonica" and "Back To Black" have a great crescendo, "You've Got Yr. Cherry Bomb" makes excellent use of tambourine, and "Stronger" has that awesome Daft Punk sample. This is a feel-good mix, so put it on and ride out the rest of the year on a high note.
